Easy to miss its alleyway entrance. Lovely ornate traditional pub , typical of the Nicholsons chain, serving great food & real ale .
They serve John Crabbie's Ginger Beer , which is actually good and spicy , as opposed to the sweet stuff other places are serving.
The Crown is an oasis of charm. Good food. Will visit again on my next trip to Oxford.
Great pub grub and a large choice of ales available. Has to wait for food on saturday lunchtime though
They serve Pilsner Urquell here, take a pint or 2 and just enjoy life in a great pub
Food is good at a reasonable price. Let the bar staff know you want food if its busy(!)
The food was very good, they ran out of Sunday roast which was disappointing. The prices were also fair .

If you want a 'cola' on tap , ask for Pepsi , otherwise the jokers there will charge you for a piddly little bottle of expensive stuff instead of mentioning it. Not impressed.
