Consistently one of the best restaurants in town . One meat and one veggie dish a day - check out the Facebook page mid morning for the menu.
Lovely place. Great coffee and unique concept. The menu changes everyday!! We had egg Benedict , that was menu of the day . Even the way they cook Benedict is quite unique. Look at the pic :)

My tip: don’t ask questions. Just answer them ;). Without understanding the concept, I wandered in and just ordered “with meat”. I got one of the most delicious and original burgers I’ve ever eaten.

Head via Löwenplatz to the Alpineum Cafe (Denkmalstrasse 11). Have a coffee (SF3.80/£2.50), then see the 19th-century diorama of painted Alpine landscapes in the adjoining Alpineum museum (SF5/£3.50).
