The resort will tell you not to buy excursions from reps on the beach - don't believe it. Went on 3 great trips this week through Miguel - very helpful. Buying in the hotel just marks up the price.
All inclusive resort . Unlimited drinks , food, beach access & pool access for guests. There is a gym , spa & orchid area. There are flamingoes & turtles here. The peacock will be your alarm clock.
Absolutely love this area - take a trip into Puerto Plata with a guide, traveled to different areas and took a cable car up Mt Isabel de Torres - fantastic experience!
Loved the resort - we took a horseback trip up Mt Isabel de Torres - helpful guides, authentic lunch , amazing time. Bought from a rep on the beach and was so worth it!
Pretty old hotel . Wi-Fi works very bad in the room 6 Mbit/sec. Means signal is very bad. Food is fine, variety is fine. Terretory is clean , exist gardens like orchids . Better visit H10
Alcohol gets seriously watered down unless you ask them to keep pouring
The bar near the front is the best stocked and has the alcohol !
Sit in Rafael's section at the main buffet . He's amazing! Be sure to tip him well too.
Entertainment staff was great - join in and have fun!
all good but when I asked about the plans they said me that is just for foreign. I dont understand that but ok.
Book dinner reservations earlier else they go away quickly.

Rooms by the pool get very noisy and wifi service can be poor in that area.
Play volley ball and/or soccer on the beach !

El Mercado is the main eatery at the resort. The breakfast buffet is from 7AM-11AM. Lunch buffet is from 1PM-3PM. Dinner buffet is from 6PM-10PM. - Kimmie Ohh
