My new favourite thing on the menu is the sweet potato and parsnip gnocchi -it's delicious. Shame it only comes as a light lunch cos I could have eaten more!
This cafe is a bit of a tourist trap. It's nice but nothing special, not sure why it's on all of the most see cafes to eat at... The food was fairly average and served a bit cold. Good coffee though
Try the toasted chilli bread/Mersea rarebit. Enjoy the work of local artists while you munch the homemade yumminess. Lovely seaside feel.
Very small but the sandwiches and baguettes are lovely. Ask for a 'depth charge' cappuccino !
The chilli hot chocolate is very good, enthusiasts can ask for extra chilli ! Nice on a cold day.
Friendly , efficient service . Good cappuccinos and delicious cakes . Don't forget to explore Tymperleys Clock Museum right next door.
