"Most convenient" way of going to Murano from Airport . But not to Venice :) It takes 1hr 20minutes to San Marco (3 miles or so) Unite with other people for a taxi boat instead.
DO NOT get a return ticket! While maybe worth the experience on the way to Venice, you don't want to miss your flight because of two full boats. Save yourself the angst and just take the bus back.
Cheap , yes. Comfortable , not at all. Better to book a private taxi or use other mode of transportation. Nauseating!!!
