Amazing Hotel with Great Lake view . Located away from the island main street(about 15 min by horse Taxi).It divided into 2 parts The Mansion (Modern Rooms ) and Summer House(Condo style)Very Relaxing
The view is awesome. Very peaceful . My brother and I stayed here after we rode the Zoo-de-mac. Our legs were very tired. We biked to the inn up several steep hills - be sure to plan for that.
You MUST take a short hike down past the old orchard to see "sunset rock" ... at sunset , of course. It's the most spectacular view on the island !
The Romance Package is the way to go; chocolate covered strawberries , chilled champagne , flowers , a gourmet prefixe dinner for two topped off by a private hour and a half carriage ride.
The artichoke risotto we had here for a wedding reception was mind-blowing.
Get your breakfast in a to-go container and eat on your balcony of the Summer House for a serene, romantic way to start the day!
