The oldest pub in Belfast with original decoration. Awesome atmosphere and good selection of beers and liqueurs . Can be quite busy on Friday evening (however, just as all places in Belfast)
Amazing old pub right in the middle of Belfast. Older crowd with a very local vibe. Cool booths where you can sit and close the door.
Most ornate pub in Belfast . Serves a great selection of real ale .
Exclusive Victorian style bar and probably one of the oldest in Belfast. Look for preserved woodwork, Gin and whiskey collection!
Not very environment to enjoy a pint of your choosing. Very nice seafood chowder . Booths are awesome for groups. Visiting here is like visiting a museum .
Feel free to enter the booths to find a space to sit and chat with other people in the pub ! Also take note of the shamrock on the Guinness .
Amazing pub . Simply beautiful and ornate with individual vaults to drink in with a smallish group of people.
Extremely touristy but a cool place to have a drink and a snack before heading to someplace with less picture taking.
Absolutely stunning pubs I ever been in. A must come place
The most beautiful bar I’ve been to. Chaps sippin’ on Guinness like water man.
An historic cultural experience. You will have to hover for a while to acquire a snug booth , but the wait is worth it.
Beautiful old pub , good local beers - highly recommended!!!
One of the most beautiful pubs I've ever seen. Very rich in decoration. The food upstairs is decent.
Great bar only thing is some people try to take up the booths on a busy day. If your polite and ask they will make space and let you in.
Great venue ! Nice atmosphere ! A little bit pricy but worth the hot whisky on a rainy day !
Beautiful old bar , cute little booths to sit in.
Cosy snugs, original gas lamps. Be sure to try the stew or ham and cabbage . Gorgeous pub !
Sipping your Guinness in a historical place while looking at the world's most bombed Hotel is priceless.
Original gas lanterns that date back to early 20th century and decor to match gives this joint a feeling of old nostalgia that makes this place special indeed.
Spot on Guinness , spot on fodder [the champ is to die for] It's a YES from me!
Fun spot with private tables.
Awesome atmosphere, an absolute must for anyone visiting Belfast
Lots of different gins on offer. That's a menu I would like to finish off!
Great food (try the pies ). Hard to find a table.
A pub owned by the National Trust? All is right with the world. Read more
Amazing Place - a must for all to see - you cant get a better pint of guinness with a bucket of atmosphere
Don't stand in the service area (un-signposted or you will get told off) otherwise worth a visit if you are a tourist .
Great vibe, you can feel the history
A step back in time, awesome
If you plan to eat, book your table in advance.
One of the most beautiful pubs I’ve ever seen.
Use the bell to alert your waiter
Fantastic booths where you can meet new people to talk to or shut yourself off from the world.
The pub is a beautiful property but we went for dinner upstairs. The service was poor and the food was average. The staff were more interested in not serving customers.
I don’t drink ale but it’s a great place
Booths are good for a group of 4-8. Apart from that standard Nicholson’s Pub .
Awesome bar ! Very unique also.
It's gorgeous and the booths are so much fun
Not been here for 5 years. Not changed. You can't not do it in Belfast. Stunning decor, atmosphere and Guinness
Oldest pub in Belfast , nice interior
If rowdy crowds & good whiskey are your thing then you've come to the right place
Great one for the Guiness fans!!
Beautiful place.
Gorgeous pub with great Guinness
Great stew
An old pub with interesting details inside. Stop by for a pint and grab one of the booths with a closing door.
We'll worth the visit
Very nice pub !
Nice place
Not the oldest bar in belfast contrary to popular belief. Good pint of guinness but incredibly over priced
Bistro upstairs. Nice location and atmosphere. Delicious fish and chips! Friendly staff. - Wendy Verbraecken
There is sometimes live music in the court. The bar is always full, a good sign for a good pub so far. I really like this pub - Lena Arent
Had an excellent stay here. Really clean, friendly and spacious. WiFi code is Spring14, if you'd like to save a bit of money. - James Anderson
