Beautiful Location, a must see, very busy at peak times, don't go on a Bank holiday. Wonderful home-cooked fresh local food & freshly baked goodies , lots of choice friendly & efficient service .
Excellent coffee , tea , soups & vegetarian food . Long tables like in traditional coffee houses of old. Lovely interior. Free WiFi , but you can't use laptops between certain lunch hours to save space.
Wow, amazing place and fantastic spot for lunch . Make it your first stop for food. Can find a queue here but moves pretty quickly. We had the Rarebit and it was delish!
Lovely and historical spot to grab tea and scones (with a variety of jam choices!). Either to sit outside or in. Great scenery either way. Quintessential oxford experience.
Fresh food , nice scones , perfect for lunch in summer cause it's only place in centre I saw that has outside seating (and the English never have aircon). Beware of the lovely bees ???? though ????
Terrific scones , coffee , and tea - in a friendly , warm space tucked into a building from the 1320s. Way better than any cafe along the main stretch nearby.
Lovely cafe in very unique surroundings. A great selection for vegetarians/vegans and those with food intolerances. Can get very busy indeed though, and you may need to share a table.
very traditional and nice place... worth to visit for the ones being in Oxford for any reason... food is limited but testy... test cheese ratebit.. ????????????
Come earlier to enjoy the quiet ambience.. totally in love w the cafe . Good coffee served here, the full English breakfast is good and generous portion .
This is a gorgeous place to visit, historic ~~~ in one of the most beautiful scenic parts of Oxford near The Sheldonian ~~~ the food is excellent ~~~ go visit <3
Had a great tea and scone . My friend’s hot chocolate was first very watery and then way too chocolatety.. It’s very busy
Had Sri Lankan tofu curry (V), which was mild and tasty. Good portions. You can use the same loyalty card here, Will's deli , and Alpha bar .
The beef and quince with roast potatoes tasted like excellent homemade food . Lovely English cuisine, short menu, reasonable prices.
Lovely café in very old traditional Oxford style. I only had a cup of coffee but next time I will definitely go for the lunch which looked yummy.
Their cooked breakfasts are devine, topped off with the gorgeous outdoor seating with a clear view of the amazing oxford camera . Perfect!
The best cafe with food, WiFi and power outlets in Oxford, in a unique setting with history.
The tea and scones are lovely. Staff leave something to be desired, but I think I could attribute that to a busy Saturday. Lovely cafe regardless
They have very good vegetarian lasagna . However, not all the options on the menu are available! Great desserts as well .
Built in the 14th century, first room to house the university senate and now a cosy cafe with delicious food!
This is a great place. A must see. But it's NOT cheap . I don't know why FourSquare gives it a single £. It's moderately expensive for what you're getting.
Good place to work when it's not crowded :) they do student discount so show your bod card. Tea and scone recommended!
Tasty food, especially lunch . Slightly overpriced, but OK because the food comes from local sources . The garden on a summer lunchtime is idyllic.
I wanted to try all the food but I had the fresh scones which were really big and yummy!
Great Full English Breakfast . Very cute location, get there early on Sunday to avoid the crowds!
amazing healthy food , cozy , warm. definitely worth a try if you are in oxford
Lovely little cafe and outdoor space looking at the Radcliffe Camera . Killer scones . Climb the church tower next door after to work it off! Read more
Lovely scones with an incredible and unique view of Radcliffe Camera .
Gluten and dairy free snacks available. Also serve veggie food. Great service.
The best scones in Oxford. Lunch meals are healthy and hearthy.
You should definitely visit church 's tower :) Cafe is okay, would not recommend cappuccino , probably tea is better as most of the customers had tea . :)
Excellent food and coffee !
Nice ambience inside and outside in the garden area
Great coffee , go for the freshly baked scones .
Lovely place with a good late and carrot cake
Affordable, healthy menu . Reliably good full English too!
Scones and the location are great
It's less busier from 2pm and offer meals at 20% discount after 3pm
They offer a student discount weekdays during term time.
Good, fast, tasty breakfast .
Excellent food, very friendly staff
Great scones ! Good coffee .
Cheap healthy food and good service .
Portions are large, great healthy food
Cute spot to sit outside although you are next to graves. The food was okay, tea was okay, scones were okay. Everything was okay.
A rare spot of free wifi in Oxford... and an excellent spot for tea or a snack . Lovely.
Nice food and coffee . Not baby friendly though.
Some fantastic organic produce in this absolutely beautiful cafe in the basement of a wonderful church
Lovely scones and tea ..
Sitting out watching the world go by
The scones with cream and jam are fantastic.
We had delicious vegeterian Traditional English breakfast! Cool place and stuff. - Nurdan Erdoğan
Great sandwiches--some lovely veggie flavours too (eg cheddar and apple). - Roxanne Selby
One of the greatest museums in the world. Exhibitions almost always fantastic. Cafe a little crowded, but rooftop restaurant amazing with views all over city. - Richard Harris
One of the best hidden gems in Oxford! Great old Rosie cloudy cider and good food! #winner - Bear Byron
