Great seasonal (and local) menu, not too expensive . Good surroundings to sit in with coffee if it's not a meal time. Good selection of teas . Profits go to the Hub - so you're supporting a good cause.
Good food, coffee and wine list . Lounge area at the front ideal for working. Don't be afraid to share a table!
Food is good especially breakfast is nice. However service is amateurish when it gets busy.Once We were there for lunch on a Saturday and they kept us standing while there were three available tables.
The hake and mussles were fantastic, cooked to the point, very well balanced taste, super fresh. This restaurant is way above average!
The chap behind the bar (maybe the bar manager?) really knew his whiskey . He was happy to take 10 minutes to talk us through their selection in great detail.
If you like seafood try the sea bass and mussels for two! Friendly service . Would recommend booking for dinner .
Fantastic place. Local wines and food made with local and fresh ingredients . Super friendly staff .
They may be great in terms of sourcing and responsibility, but their cooking is simply uninspired and too fatty.
Get the coffee , slump on the couches , gaze at the world passing by, get drunk on the brilliant selection of craft beer . A day well spent!
You have to try the brownie . It literally is the best brownie I've ever tasted! Also, the English white wine is delicious.
A rather limited menu, so if you have any dietary requirements (veggie , gluten free ) you might struggle to find anything suitable. Very enjoyable food though.
Great deco and great atmosphere. But 4 weeks after opening, they still don't have a clue how to make a coffee - from boiling milk in a latte to no froth in a cappuccino . Stick with the food.
Why there were more vegan options than carnivore!!! ????????♀️ Lovely setting, good service .
tasty, local and seasonal lamb roast. their Yorkshire puddings are big, fluffy clouds. Lovely service, too
Really nice spot to get some work done upstairs.
Fresh foods , original dishes, organic beers are proposed there
More effort has gone into the decor than anything else. A poor flat white in shabby crockery. Lackadaisical staff meant people waited upwards of 15mins for a coffee . Didn't bother staying for food.
When it comes to dessert , go for the Strawberry & Rhubarb Jelly with clotted cream .
Homemade vegetable soups fantastic - and come with fresh made bread .
The music is always good and so is the food and alcohol
Favourite for artisan coffee , food and drinks.
Loved my chai latte but the salted caramel was a little too salty
Adorable, great hot drinks, clean restrooms . Love.
Tasty food with a local British touch. Yummy :-)
One of the worst breakfasts I ve ever had. Cold pastries . 4/4 poached eggs hard boiled. Asked for new ones and they only brought 2 and they were hardboiled as well . Never again.
Cool cafe ! Nice ambience, great service and excellent food.
Try Apple and Rhubarb fruit juice . Really good!
Roast dinners on Sunday are really good!
How can you offer eggs & toast , take the money and then not have and fucking bread .
Large portion food for me.
Flat white ; only 2 squids and it's a biggie
Don't order soy-based coffee bevs: they can't steam it properly to save their lives
too frickin cold. turn that air conditioning off!
Don't order decaf , it tastes like water.
Coffee , eggs and toast...perfect.
Amazing breakfast - most notably cafe’s speciality platter. Such a great place to work/Read. - J.R. Reed
Sunday brunch is a hot tip. Good coffee and the eggs benedict are delicious. - James Norton
Vibrant place, staff are are nice and knowledgeable about the food. Do visit on Thursdays for the live music. Nice place, will visit again - Sylvia Carmen
One of the best hidden gems in Oxford! Great old Rosie cloudy cider and good food! #winner - Bear Byron
One of the greatest museums in the world. Exhibitions almost always fantastic. Cafe a little crowded, but rooftop restaurant amazing with views all over city. - Richard Harris
