Bring plenty of water as not a lot of shade. Visit some of the lesser known tombs as they are just as interesting as the better known ones

It's really, really, hot. If you're going to visit, make sure you bring a lot of water - and plan a tour of Häagen-Dazs afterwards.

Quiet place , where all the pharaos rest in peace ...Had an opportunity to see 3 tombs . Cameras are not allowed since one lady inscribed her name into the wall inside the tomb...really insane!

Cameras are not allowed inside, so if you manage to get it in make sure not to get caught or you gonna be in great trouble with the security @ the police .

Great visit. 3 tombs included into the ticket, we visited 8, 16, 14. 14 was very nice as two chamber.

If you are at Hatshepsot, you could hike the mountain till its other end and you will find Valley of the Kings

Um the mummy is there so no, not everything is at the Cairo museum . The other tip is written by an idiot. King tuts tomb is worth the money.

To see Tutankhamon's tumb you have to pay an extra of 100 Egyptian pounds at the ticket post, they don't accept any other currencies but theirs, so make sure you have enough EPs

If you are an independant trraveller visit early on a Thursday morning when it is most quiet . The coaches and boats have mostly buggered off elsewhere.

The tomb of Tutankhamen is not worth the money. Everything is at the Cairo Museum .
