If you subscribe to their email newsletter you'll get a free glass of Pimm 's. Also: every Monday night they have a pub quiz which is absolutely great.
The Früli is really good, strawberry beer must be worth trying at least once. Also, the deep fried whitebait is good for a light meal.
The Cheddar and Bacon burger comes recommended, along with the great value Prixe Fixe menu – yum!
This place is fantastic-ly close to the Mathematics Institute.
Great atmosphere, though a little on the expensive side
Find the giant Jenga blocks and keep your drinks on a different table!
Food is great, atmosphere is pretty good too.
Decent pub food , nice range of beers
Despite what the sign says, EduRoam is NOT available here. The phone signal with O2 isn't too good here either.
Definitely get half a pint of chilli puffs with every pint of ale .
I might be stoned but this place is a labyrinth.
The place for pimms at £9.65 for a pitcher ! Plus lovely food too :)
Not enjoying the Ginger Beer . But maybe it's just me.
Great pub! …But also a superb French Bistro. Minute steak followed by Crème Brûlée were both delicious. Friendly service and local ale too! Instantly booked again for next time after we’d finished - Andrew Talaga
Excellent real ale selection, from the White horse brewery. About 8 on tap. - Ben Moreau
The pies! The pies! It's all about the pies. Great location, ambience, and selection of drinks too though. - Roxanne Selby
The pork scratchings are some of the best in Oxford! Lovely friendly pub with great staff. One of my favourites! - Claire
Nom. Nomnom. Onomnomnomnom. Very food! Such tasty! Get the sujuk (spicy sausage) and anything with chorizo in it. - Christopher Whalen
