The shop has many extra features: open fires in the Winter, beloved by all. The Station Buffet with good plain food, coffee, tea and cookies. A model railway acting as a link between the book columns of the central room, along with poetry lines. Three stunning 40-foot murals.

My favourite bookshop ! You need plenty of time to browse and admire this beautiful old building . Dogs welcome inside! Not just books , come have lunch in the buffet or just a coffee by the fire!
The destination of choice for book lovers of all ages - Excellent Buffet too. Factor in plenty of time here, it's not just a shop, you will be amazed! Cosy real fires in winter! Dogs welcome!
This place is a must to visit, you can while away hours browsing the books , reading sat at any of the many cosy places or take a cup of tea and slice of cake at the cafe
Amazing building which you could spend all day here looking through many second-hand books . The building has been converted into library from a old train station . Dogs are welcome too.
Massive book selection in an old railway station. Very relaxed. Coffee food and papers. Some games to borrow eg chess .
A great place to relax and one heck of a unique browsing emporium. Divine springs to mind, buffet , inexpensive coffee and a wonderful collection. Truthful pricing, this is NOT a charity shop .
Just 30p for a cup of tea by the fire, quirky and gorgeous. Recommending the Welsh Rarebit on thick bread . Nice
What an incredible book shop. The cafe was great too!
The Welsh Rarebit is something else, free wifi , cosy by the fire but wrap up if you are browsing for a good read ..
Commissioned by the British govt before WWII the now famous "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster was forgotten for over 60 years before being rediscovered in a box of old books at this bookshop in 2000. Read more
The hand soap is out of this world. The book selection and coziness of the place is the cream on the cake .
If you love books you have to come here. Cozy atmosphere and excellent choice of books !

Allow loads of time to spend at this bookshop - stunning
All of these for less than £20!
Possibly the best second hand bookshop in the UK... extensive range of everything you can think of.
Look up for the train !!! Take some time to relax by the fire. Buy some books and have fun.
Lots of books but also very expensive . If you want to buy a few you might need to sell your anus to cover the cost
Coolest bookshop i've ever been to.
Plan a lot of time to be here! You'll need it.
Great coffee !

Nice place but expensive as hell. I've seen the same books a quarter of the price in the local charity shops .
My favourite bookshop anywhere, and certainly best second hand one.
Try the bacon rolls!
Tyre a Barter Bikkie!
maze of shelves - wonderful reworking of a grand old building - but the car park is a nightmare
Parking can be a nightmare, but Lidl is next door. Make sure you have time to browse properly and at least a rough idea of the kind of books you are looking for.
Immense Greek salad, amazing selection of food & great coffee! - Catriona Merryweather
